Payroll Operations Manager

Salary: $85,000.00-$95,000.00

• Lead payroll operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with significant organizational impact.
• Gain visibility through direct partnership with Tax Accounting, Human Resources, auditors, and external payroll providers.
• Play a key role in ensuring compliance with evolving payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall payroll operations.
• Utilize industry-leading platforms including Workday and ADP Smart Compliance.
• Lead and mentor payroll staff while overseeing the accuracy and quality of payroll processing.
• Expand expertise across payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, audits, and compliance management.

• Oversee biweekly and semi-monthly payroll processing and payroll transmissions.
• Manage relationships with ADP Smart Compliance and other payroll service providers.
• Review payroll reports, adjustments, tax filings, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise payroll staff and approve payroll processing activities.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee payroll and benefits-related matters.
• Support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of payroll management experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Experience with Workday Payroll and ADP Smart Compliance.
• Knowledge of payroll tax reporting, compliance, and reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
