Join our dynamic bilingual IB school just minutes from Manhattan, and inspire young minds every day in a warm, international community!

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with classroom and behavior management
  • Keeps the classroom and the school clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Assists Lead Teacher in a range of tasks as needed
  • Assists with pastoral care
  • Leads outdoor play and any field trips
  • Participates in meetings and trainings as needed
  • May perform diaper changing, feeding and soothing of very young children depending on the class
  • Assists in other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
  • Excellent command of Spanish & English
  • 3 years working experience in school
  • Degree in early childhood education, child development or similar discipline preferred
  • Experience with the IB PYP is preferable, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, a sense of humor, humility, and empathy
  • Team-player
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Previous experience at an international school and/or cultural fluency derived from international experience is a plus
Schedule
  • 8 hours Monday to Friday
  • Possibility for part-time positions and to work extra hours

Salary
  • $3,500 per month
