Preschool Teacher

About the Role

We are a Jewish preschool committed to providing play‑based, high‑quality early childhood education to all children. At Kaplan, every teacher is a vital part of the team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be a warm, nurturing, and dependable presence in the classroom, key in creating a safe, joyful, and engaging environment for young children.

You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support children's learning, care, and daily routines while fully participating in classroom life and curriculum.

• Degree and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree in combination with at least 1 year of experience in early childhood classrooms will also be considered.
• Able to lift 40 lbs, walk, squat/kneel, sit on floor, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing.
• Good communication and instructional skills.
• Reliability and professionalism.
• Ability to integrate feedback into teaching practice.
• Ability to collaborate with and support other teachers and administrators.
