Hoboken Public School District Job Opportunity
Prospective or current educators are invited to join the Hoboken Public School District family. This position requires an NJ Elementary Teacher K-6, Middle School Content and or High School Content Standard, Provisional, CEAS or CE NJ Special Education Endorsment - TOSD or TOH. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of effective teaching methods, maintain a positive learning environment, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A criminal history background check, physical clearance, and PTT are required, along with proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Responsibilities include coordinating classroom tasks, achieving New Jersey Learning Standards, developing lesson plans, monitoring student progress, maintaining records, and establishing standards of student behavior. Educators will also participate in professional growth activities and school-level planning.
Compensation is per Hoboken Education Association (HEA) Contract.
