High School Special Education Teacher

Hoboken Charter School is accepting resumes for a high school Special Education teacher. The candidate must have a standard certificate, CE/CEAS, or college degree in the appropriate area with teaching experience. If not certified, must be willing to begin process or have a teaching certification and be willing to begin special education certification program.

Special Education teachers work primarily as co-teachers in our inclusive classroom settings. The Hoboken Charter School is a K-12 community committed to social justice and service-learning grounded in learner- centered practices. Our teachers have autonomy to teach an inquiry-based, learner-centered curriculum with the benefit of small class sizes. Through an individualized and shared journey, students come to know who they are and how they can change the world.

Salary commensurate with experience and education.
