The Financial Services Organization (FSO) is a dedicated industry‑focused unit within EY. The Senior Manager leads the Fiduciary/Trust & Estate Tax Administration Services (FTEAS) team, developing strategy, ensuring profitability, and delivering high‑quality fiduciary accounting to banks, law firms, family offices, and individual trustees.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical review of complex trust and estate accountings and interpret trust agreements.
- Manage client relationships, providing timely, compliant service and fostering long‑term partnerships.
- Drive business development through sales calls, client presentations, and marketing activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal EY groups and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with EY processes, independence, eDocs, and technology initiatives.
- Oversee engagement profitability, staffing efficiency, and project billing; manage collections and audit engagement profitability.
- Develop and apply operational efficiencies to deliver high‑quality services.
- Support staff development, including self‑study courses and knowledge enhancement.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- CPA, EA, licensed Attorney, Professional Fiduciary, or CTFA certification.
- 10+ years of fiduciary/court accounting experience at a bank, law firm, or CPA firm.
- Expertise in complex trust and estate accounting; familiarity with IRS Forms 706, 1041, and K‑1.
- Strong understanding of trust structures, trust terminology, and estate planning documentation.
- Proficient with fiduciary accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Thomson Reuters FAS.
- Strong client interaction, business development, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Experience working with large trusts, estates, family offices, and complex assets.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Base salary range for U.S. locations: $127,900 to $291,900 (adjusted for geography).
