Compliance Officer, Finance & Banking

Global banking client is seeking a compliance officer to join their team as s enior member of the Regulatory Compliance Department responsible for helping oversee the Bank's AML/OFAC and Corporate Compliance Programs. Ensures programs remain effective, risk-based, and aligned with regulatory expectations, while serving as an independent advisor to senior management and supporting regulatory examinations.

• Help manage and enhance AML/OFAC and Corporate Compliance Programs in response to regulatory changes
• Lead compliance risk assessments, testing, and monitoring
• Maintain and update policies, procedures, and program documentation
• Support and interface with regulators, internal audit, and senior management
• Prepare and lead compliance governance and committee meetings, including Board-level forums
• Oversee compliance training and staff development
• Provide guidance on complex compliance matters and serve as AML/OFAC Responsible Officer as needed

• 7+ years of BSA/AML/OFAC and/or Corporate Compliance experience in a regulated financial institution
• Strong knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and compliance risk management
• Management experience required
• Experience with regulatory exams and transaction monitoring systems (Fircosoft a plus)
