Financial Planning Analyst

We’re partnering with an established manufacturing/CPG organization based in New Jersey that is seeking a high-impact FP&A professional to join their team.

• $200M in annual revenue
• Manufacturing outsourced to approved European production facilities, ensuring premium quality standards
• Operates across multiple legal entities, including 10 international distribution subsidiaries requiring consolidation

Operational FP&A / Gross Margin Focus

This is a highly analytical, business-facing position dedicated exclusively to gross margin management and operational FP&A oversight.

The role was created to enhance margin transparency and operational control, particularly as the company transitions its ERP system from Microsoft Dynamics AX to SAP.

This individual will work closely with production, supply chain, and distribution teams and must be comfortable challenging assumptions and driving accountability.

• Own gross margin analysis and identify key drivers of variance
• Monitor production costs across outsourced manufacturing partners
• Oversee inventory management and logistics flows across international distribution networks
• Support ERP transition (AX → SAP) with focus on financial controls and data integrity
• Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency and performance
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and operational reviews
• Support consolidation across international subsidiaries

• 5 years of FP&A experience within manufacturing, supply chain, retail, industrial, or operationally complex environments
• Strong hands‑on experience with gross margin, production cost analysis, and inventory flows
• Confident communicator with executive presence (top‑tier/A1 profile)
• Analytical, curious, and business‑minded
• Experience with ERP systems (AX and/or SAP preferred)
• Public accounting background (Big 4 strongly preferred)
• CPA strongly preferred for candidates coming directly from public accounting
