Job Description
We are seeking a passionate esthetician and/or spray tan tech to join our team at Blush Hoboken, located at 161 4th St in Hoboken, NJ.

We specialize in airbrush tans as well as cryo EMS, T-shock skin tightening on body, neck, chin, face, and cryo facials. We are adding a face and body lab that will specialize in custom facials, peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, eyebrows, lashes, and waxing.

As an Esthetician, you will provide a range of these beauty treatments to our clients, helping them enhance their natural beauty and boost their confidence. Your expertise is welcomed but not necessary if applying for the spray tan tech position, as we do all the training on site. The Blush Tan spray tan techniques are specific to our brand!

• Perform various treatments, including custom facials, peels, dermaplaning, waxing, cryo facials, skin tightening, cryo EMS, and airbrush spray tans.
• Assess clients' skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Provide personalized skincare consultations and educate clients on skincare routines and products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in treatment rooms and equipment at all times.
• Upsell additional services or retail products to clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in skincare techniques.

• Previous experience as a licensed Esthetician is required for the esthetician position, or in a similar role is preferred but not necessary for spray techs — just the willingness to learn!
• Strong knowledge of skincare products, techniques, and trends is always a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients is a must.
• Cash and credit card handling experience.
• Sales experience is beneficial.

• Valid Esthetician license/certification in the state of NJ is needed in order to perform all treatments; however, not necessary for airbrush spray tanning.
• Must be available at least 2 nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of cosmetology regulations and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen to clients' needs.
• Attention to detail and ability to provide personalized recommendations based on individual skin types.
