Associate Director – Technology, North America

As Associate Director, you will be the general manager for select key technology initiatives in NA. You will lead the program management, prioritization, deployment, change management, and adoption of transformative digital products and technologies across the NA region. You will ensure business goals are met through digital solutions that accelerate Unilever’s growth. Collaborating with Global Product and other teams, you will ensure technology deployments are tailored to the market and deliver value across all Business Units— including Foods, Personal Care (PC), Beauty & Wellness, and Home Care.

• Drive business outcomes through transformative technology initiatives. Manage select critical product/technology initiatives for North America, with accountability for success. Leads the planning, execution, and management of related digital, data, and AI product deployment.
• Advocate for user‑centric design, continuous improvement, and successful change management to maximize business value and ensure digital product adoption.
• Drive forward the technology (digital product) needs for North America by aligning to business goals and daily operations. Oversee North America technology requirements gathering and validation.
• Bring teams and stakeholders together to prioritize, build, deploy, and measure benefits from critical technology. Define scope, goals, and timelines with stakeholders.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to gather inputs and communicate progress.
• Represent North America technology needs in global product planning, ensuring local requirements and features are addressed. Collaborate with global product teams or third‑party vendors on product builds.
• Manage technology vendor relationships if needed.

• Digital expertise – experience with digital (Data, AI, tech) projects / products / programs.

• Experience in management consulting, product management, or technology strategy/deployment. 7+ years of related experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
• Digital expertise – experience with digital (e.g. Data, AI, systems) projects / products / programs. Experience with analytics/insight products.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and executive level communications.
• Strong cross‑functional stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. High emotional intelligence.
• Track record of developing exceptional talent and teams.
• Experience in supply chain.

• Masters degree in business, computer science, math or related field.
• Experience in FMCG, CPG, retail.
• Knowledge of agile.

Pay:
The pay range for this position is $146,200 to $219,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus:
This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI):
This position is LTI eligible.
