As a Director in EY-Parthenon’s Strategy & Execution – Deal Technology practice focusing on Health IT, you will lead high-impact engagements that drive both cost optimization and top-line growth across complex transactions and corporate transformations. You will work with C-suite executives, private equity clients, and IT leadership to identify, plan, and execute healthcare technology-driven strategies that enable innovative delivery of patient care, operational efficiencies with health plans, optimize enterprise IT platforms and optimize operational costs while also accelerating revenue and digital innovation during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs as well as value creation, enterprise re‑imagine, and technology transformation initiatives.
This role blends deep IT expertise with strategic insight to deliver measurable value through cost transformation, digital/AI enablement, operational efficiency, and tech‑enabled growth initiatives.
Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, the Deal Technology Health practice works on the most complex and high‑profile healthcare transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in healthcare enterprise technology who are serial transaction and strategic advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients.
This role is focused on advising the Health sector. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of enterprise technology platforms, operations, functions, and people.
- Lead value‑creation technology projects that span cost optimization and growth enablement.
- Guide clients through IT‑focused strategies that enhance operational efficiency and unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Advise senior stakeholders, collaborate across functions, and apply emerging technologies (clinical and revenue cycle management platforms, AI, cloud, data analytics) to deliver measurable business impact.
- Maintain a strong commercial mindset and balance efficiency with innovation.
- Build Trusted Relationships – ability to manage senior client relationships and influence client perspectives.
- Strong Problem Solving and Storytelling – lead problem solving from identification to recommendation with a compelling narrative.
