Do you want to help design the next generation of materials used for space exploration? Are you interested in getting a PhD? A fully funded position is available in Prof. Jacob Gissingerâ€s group at Stevens Institute of Technology, starting Spring 2024. The research will involve computational modeling of high-performance polymers and composites for use in extreme environments.

Qualifications
Students should have a background in materials science, chemical engineering or related fields. Proficiency in programming is a plus. The applicant should be excited to learn about computational materials science and machine learning. Only domestic students are eligible for the position beginning Spring 2024, but future openings in the Gissinger Group may arise.
