Research Scientist, Clinical Research, Research Assistant/Associate
Job Description:
The Department of Computer Science seeks a motivated and detail‑oriented Part‑Time Staff Researcher to support ongoing research initiatives under the supervision of Professor Hoover. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to research projects while gaining experience in project coordination, documentation, and collaborative research activities within an academic environment.
- Track and document research processes to maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date records of project workflows and activities.
- Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and peers to support research efforts, exchange ideas, and contribute to project objectives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and supporting materials for team meetings and research‑related activities.
- Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks to support the efficient execution of research initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with research team members and contribute to a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Perform related duties as assigned in support of ongoing research activities.
- Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully within a research team environment.
In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the hourly base range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00. This range represents the University’s good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation, such as incentives, stipends, or other applicable pay components.
