Retail wine guide needed! Full time OR part time available. Wine Dad's is a fun and friendly 'neighborhood' store. We sell plenty of popular favorites and we’re also the place where Sommeliers come to shop. We have a superb collection of well-known names, up-and-coming producers, small producers with high quality, unusual varieties and regions, natural wines, orange wines, and a deep selection of craft and local in beer and spirits.

We like to say that Wine Dad's is a 'neighborhood store' first, as we carry popular brands, but we curate deep selections in wine and craft spirits from the best portfolios that the New York market offers. It’s like we’re a boutique wine shop cleverly disguised as a liquor store. Our goal for every customer is simple: help them find something they will love.

This requires wine-knowledgeable people who can ask the right questions and make great recommendations.

If you LOVE this aspect of wine, come talk to us. Having some pertinent wine knowledge is a must, but it doesn’t have to include formal certifications (though that would be ideal). A solid basis of wine knowledge is needed, and experience in retailing or on-premise is helpful, too.

We’re about to open our THIRD store (nearby in Jersey City) — growing despite the tough market trends, and that’s no accident. The usual retail duties involve stocking shelves, supervising the daily workflow, assisting our managers, and hopping on a register if needed. At Wine Dad’s we’re focused on connecting with our customers and helping them make great selections, with the help of actual human intelligence (AHI) — there’s no tech replacement for a person who has tried that wine!
