Position: FT Sales Associate

About the Role

A Full‑time Sales Associate at Lovesac will create a welcoming and engaging in‑store experience, helping customers design products to fit their style and space.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a role model on the team by engaging with customers and demonstrating sales techniques and service standards to build brand loyalty.
  • Lead by example through exceptional client engagement, proactive selling, and a commitment to achieving sales goals while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Guide the customer from first interest to purchase, managing quotes, closing the sale and maintaining relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members to review open customer quotes and follow up with customers to drive conversion and ensure a seamless sales experience.
  • Champion new company initiatives (products, promotions) to drive adoption, engagement and sales performance.
  • Consistently achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators while inspiring and influencing others to reach their own goals through collaboration, motivation and leading by example.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively demo, assist, and educate customers.
  • Proactively conduct and model effective customer outreach using company‑provided tools and communication methods.
  • Quickly identify and resolve customer issues, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards.
  • Support store operations, including opening & closing the store, inventory, exchanges, marketing, promotions and ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Utilize company tools, sales data and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring standards, minimizing risks and maintaining safety in the store.
  • Assist store management with additional responsibilities related to service or operations functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service.
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support, including product demonstrations and internal CRM systems.
  • Support Lovesac’s omni‑channel customer experience, including assistance in‑person at the home store, local stores and third‑party vendors.
  • Must be able to travel, as required, to local stores, vendors and occasional meetings.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive data and ensuring customer privacy and safety.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
  • Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally, and assemble furniture while on the selling floor. This position routinely requires bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling and climbing.
