Role Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly and addressing their inquiries.
• Resolve any customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Assist customers in locating products and providing recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock availability.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer experience.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies in transactions.
• Participate in training and development programs to improve skills.
• Support promotional activities and sales initiatives.
• Prepare daily financial reports for management review.
• Assist in other store operations as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle cash and perform transactions accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• High level of professionalism and reliability.
