Job Summary

The position is responsible for managing a region by building relationships with existing clients as well as gaining new business. The role oversees a team of 4‑5 outside sales representatives and field account managers, and works closely with inside sales associates within that region. Responsibilities include setting sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives, recruiting and building strategic partnerships with larger health systems and groups, managing product utilization, and reducing churn and on‑holds.

Travel is required (30%).

What You'll Do
  • Creatively execute sales goals within a region to meet business objectives.
  • Build strategic partnership relationships within large health systems or groups in the assigned region.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment to expand the current footprint (outside sales, inside sales, account managers).
  • Increase exam room utilization within the region.
  • Work closely with outside directors to prospect new customers using in‑person, email, and phone outreach.
  • Develop strategies and enhance relationships with physician offices, specialty group practices and health systems in the assigned territory across all communication channels.
  • Effectively manage time and logistics to conduct sales activities, balancing travel, presentations and outreach on a daily basis.
  • Follow up to ensure timely communication on all sales calls.
  • Use  daily to record all sales activity, prospect accounts and submit paperwork.
  • Stay updated on customer needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Attend and staff the PatientPoint booth at regional and national trade shows.
  • Collaborate with teammates and internal support departments to ensure effective working relationships.
  • Participate in territory, regional and national sales meetings.
  • Communicate and collaborate with EVP / SVP on specified quarterly goals and achievements.
What We Need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional sales experience.
  • 4–6 years of healthcare experience; ideal candidate can provide goals and how they were consistently achieved.
  • Experience selling into provider medical practices is desired.
  • 2 years’ experience managing a sales team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Compensation

Base Salary Band: $75,000.00 – $. PatientPoint is committed to providing competitive pay and benefits in line with industry standards.
