AX9 Security is looking for a reliable and dependable Security Officer to join our team at a school location in Hoboken, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors while providing a professional and friendly presence throughout the school.

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:30 PM

Location:

Hoboken, NJ

• Monitor school entrances and exits during school hours.
• Verify visitor identification and enforce access control procedures.
• Conduct routine patrols of the school campus and grounds.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns.
• Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and parents.
• Report suspicious activity and complete detailed incident reports.
• Work closely with school administration and local law enforcement when necessary.
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, and special school events.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Security Officer License
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/AED certification is a plus.
