We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full‑Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, cloud‑native applications in a modern enterprise environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who brings strong back‑end expertise while maintaining a solid working knowledge of front‑end technologies.

SQL databases and deploy applications on AWS, following best practices for security, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. You will also collaborate with AI and data teams to integrate AI‑enabled capabilities into platform services and user workflows.
- Design and develop backend services using Java and Python
- Develop and support front‑end applications using standard component libraries
- Deploy and operate applications on AWS using CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate AI‑powered features and data‑driven services
- Collaborate on front‑end development using React and modern web technologies
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with Java, Python, databases, and AWS
- Familiarity with data models and database integrations
- Experience with cloud‑native development and APIs
- Familiarity with AI / ML integrations and data‑centric systems
This is a hybrid work setup, where the candidate will be required to work up to three days onsite at our Hoboken office.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is between $100,000 - $115,000.
