Back End Developer

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Backend Development engineer
to join our engineering team in Hoboken, NJ. This role will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud-native services supporting enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend architecture, API development, database design, cloud platforms, and modern authentication frameworks.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and frontend engineering teams to analyze user stories and define backend architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Ensure applications adhere to OWASP security standards and industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance through caching, rate limiting, and efficient database design.

Pay Range Minimum: $ 69,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 130,000 per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
