We’re looking for a Senior Scientist in Analytical Chemistry with strong HPLC expertise, ideally alongside GC, SFC, NMR or other techniques used to characterise APIs. You’ll support our chemistry projects, develop and validate analytical methods, act as the go-to expert on characterising Starting Materials, Intermediates and APIs, and work hand in hand with our Process Chemistry colleagues.

What you’ll bringA PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or a BSc with several years’ relevant experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory

Significant expertise in developing and troubleshooting HPLC methods

In-depth, hands-on and up-to-date knowledge of other analytical methodologies

An understanding of other chromatographic separation techniques such as SFC and/or GCA strong scientific track record you’re proud ofWhat you’ll be doing

Working within project teams to tight deadlines

Planning and prioritising your own work with minimal supervision

Stepping in to learn new techniques whenever a project needs it Solving complex scientific problems
