Job Summary If you have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and Building Services, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Our client is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join their facilities management team across the midlands. You'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building services across multiple sites, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.
Call-out work is optional, with plenty of weekend overtime opportunities available for engineers looking to increase their earnings.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services Respond promptly and professionally to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards at all times Liaise with site contacts and supervisors to maintain excellent levels of service Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures across sites Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used using CAFM/PDA technology Provide detailed reports and updates on works delivered Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs and maintenance across multiple sites Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently Support the continuous improvement and reliability of building services across the portfolio Requirements Experience delivering hard M&E services in a mobile or multi-site role Strong technical knowledge of building services and maintenance Electrical trade-related qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification Full UK driving licence Excellent communication and time management skills Health & Safety training such as IOSH or equivalent would be desirable Experience using CAFM systems would be advantageous Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of customer service What's on Offer Company van and fuel card Optional call-out opportunities Plenty of weekend overtime available Industry-leading family leave benefits Ongoing training, development, and career progression opportunities Stable, long-term position with a reputable employer If you live in and around Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, or the surrounding areas, this could be the role for you.
