As the Category Manager – Chemicals and Parts Washers, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing plans for all of the company’s chemicals and inventory for the Parts Washers machines, including refurbishment and replenishment.

- Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories to achieve value creation. - Change Management:
Implement category or commodity strategies to optimize business efficiency. - Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery. - RFP Events:
Lead category strategies and sourcing events from start to finish. - Market Analysis:
Analyze market trends, spend data, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements. - Negotiation:
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. - Category Strategy:
Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the overall procurement strategy. - Inventory Management:
Communicate with site buyers to ensure adequate inventory levels. - Reporting:
Present reports to management highlighting trends, savings, and issues. - Cost Savings:
Drive cost‑effective solutions and savings to achieve organizational goals. - Experience:
5–7 years in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar role. - Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Education:
MBA preferred; or relevant qualifications in procurement and supply. CPSM or CIPS level 3 certifications. - Analytical Abilities:
Proficiency in analyzing data and market trends. - Domestic/international travel: up to 30% as needed.
Anticipated salary range: $85,000 – $105,000.
