Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join our Facilities Maintenance sector! As a Construction Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating various construction projects from inception to completion. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and comprehensive knowledge of construction processes will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects within budget and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective measures as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, including budget updates, timelines, and potential challenges, to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits, and liaise with relevant authorities as required.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, leading and mentoring project teams to achieve high‑quality results.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant records.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience managing projects in plumbing, HVAC, and other facilities maintenance systems.
  • Four‑year degree from an accredited university (Preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified (Preferred, not required).
  • Associate degree or two years of general work experience.
  • Previous experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office, email and internet.
