QUALIFICATIONSJOB DESCRIPTION
- Provides reception for the Center. Greets visitors, answers telephone, takes and distributes messages and provides information as appropriate.
- Schedules and maintains appointments in scheduling software to facilitate 24/7 access to Orientation appointments in the Student Portal.
- Supports college programs such as peak time registration times,add/drop week, Hullabaloo and info nights. Duties include assisting students with scheduling and registration, providing input aboutnew student processes, including financial aid and testing.
- Assists in organizing Orientation programs for new students:check-in, scheduling rooms and/or organizing materials for advisor use.
- Accesses, researches and prints student information from student systems for advisors.
- Tracks student contacts and monitors appointment and staffing availability and needs.
- Requests materials for advising and orientation programs asneeded.
- Follows privacy and confidentiality guidelines with student record information.
- Performs related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. - Experience:
One year general office experience required. Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using different technology/software platforms and familiarity with student systems preferred.
