You’ll be joining an experienced Mechanical Engineering department which promotes an open and collaborative team culture to develop innovative and market‑leading molecular imaging systems.
Candidates should be capable of working across all aspects of the product lifecycle from concept generation through product sustaining.
Our team utilizes cutting edge development tools including structural and thermal FEA as well as Agile development principles, and our engineers work closely with in‑house and third‑party manufacturing to ensure devices are designed for manufacturability and serviceability while balancing cost targets.
Role- Contribute to the development of medical imaging systems alongside a cross‑functional team made up of both technical and non‑technical team members.
- Develop and realize mechanical designs, from conceptualization through material selection and dimensional specifications to detailed part and assembly drawings using Siemens NX and Nastran where appropriate.
- Perform engineering change orders (ECOs) as part of ongoing design improvements to SPECT and PET product lines.
- Troubleshoot technical and commercial issues, including working with in‑house and third‑party manufacturing in a global environment.
- Implement new designs and processes or improvements to existing designs and processes to meet functional requirements.
- Knowledgeable of structural design (sheet metal, castings, weldments).
- Proficient in CAD modeling and drawing (NX preferred).
- Able to initiate mechanical calculations and compile reports to drive design and troubleshooting efforts.
- Interest in medical imaging and/or medical technology.
- Familiar with FDA/ISO design controls.
- Motivated to learn and develop technical skills.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of successful experience in related fields.
- 2+ years of structural component design (seismic and other vibration analysis preferred).
- 4+ years designing in 3D CAD (NX preferred).
- Travel: less than 5% of time, may include international trips.

Base Pay RangeMin $91,610 – Max $137,410
