Job Scope

The HR Systems & Payroll Transformation Consultant provides targeted, part‑time advisory support to Transformco during a defined transition period to implement a new payroll and HR operating model. This role is specifically designed to leverage prior institutional and system knowledge to accelerate decision‑making, reduce implementation risk, and ensure continuity as Transformco transitions payroll operations to ADP Managed Services, sunsets People Soft, and implements Workday HCM.

The consultant will advise on strategy, planning, and execution across payroll and HR system transformation activities, including contract and service model review, operating model design, implementation readiness, testing support, and knowledge transfer. The role will assess payroll, tax, audit, and HR service coverage to ensure contractual completeness and operational alignment, and will develop or validate standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, data flows, and controls required for a sustainable go‑forward model.

This is a non‑operational, consultative role. The consultant will not perform day‑to‑day payroll processing, system administration, or production support, will have no direct people management responsibilities, and will not retain system ownership or ongoing operational accountability following completion of the engagement.

Job Summary
