Job Description
We are seeking a Scanner/Data Entry Operator to scan and enter financial, legal, medical, and general business records with a 99% accuracy target. This role uses optical character recognition software and follows a multi-step quality assurance process. The position reports to the Records Supervisor and offers a very casual office environment with hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Scan financial, legal, medical, and general business records.
- Enter information accurately into designated systems.
- Use optical character recognition software to support document processing.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive records.
- Follow the multi-step quality assurance process.
- Maintain a 99% accuracy target.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in data entry and document scanning.
- Ability to perform data entry at a minimum speed of 12,500 keystrokes per minute.
