Commercial Lines Service Manager – Transportation Insurance

1 Terra Vita Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Trucking Insurance Service Manager / Senior Account Executive to lead our trucking insurance service operations and manage complex commercial transportation accounts.

This is a leadership position exclusively focused on commercial trucking insurance, including motor carriers, trucking fleets, and transportation businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial trucking insurance service department.
• Oversee complex trucking and fleet insurance accounts.
• Manage renewals, policy servicing, endorsements, audits, and claims coordination.
• Build relationships with transportation insurance carriers, underwriters, MGAs, and wholesalers.
• Review Commercial Auto Liability, Motor Truck Cargo, Physical Damage, General Liability, and related trucking insurance coverages.
• Develop standardized service workflows and procedures using Applied Epic.
• Supervise and train Account Managers and Client Service Specialists.
• Coordinate with producers on account retention, renewals, and client service.
• Monitor account performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience.
• Direct commercial trucking insurance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of trucking insurance coverages, fleet operations, and underwriting requirements.
• Active Illinois Property & Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one promptly.
• Experience managing large commercial transportation accounts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Applied Epic experience strongly preferred.
