Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Labor and Delivery position in Illinois with a current IL RN license and key AHA certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with antepartum and OB-ED areas
- Level III NICU on site
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- May float to Mother Baby unit as needed
- Required to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations
- Duties include providing nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume setting
- Role may require float coverage to the Mother Baby unit occasionally
- All positions subject to a radius rule; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- No Covid vaccination requirement as of July 1, 2023
- Holiday and weekend coverage required per rotation
- All positions at this facility are auto offer
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification through AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics
- Nursys verification and primary source license verification within 30 days prior to start
- US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Two professional references and copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
