Charge Nurse

• Must be on‑call for all shifts Monday through Sunday.
• Develops and implements nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Designs, implements, and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and promote resident rights.
• Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
• Ensures residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
• Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation, and administrative decision‑making, emphasizing nursing services.

• Licensed with current Illinois nursing licensure required.
• Degree from an accredited RN/LPN program.
• Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
• Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
