Join Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists as a full‑time, overnight Veterinary Assistant providing high‑quality emergency care to pets and supporting a dynamic medical team.

$20.00/hr – $25.00/hr (compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience)

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
• Obtain health history and information from clients and maintain accurate medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.

• Veterinary Assistant experience required – ER experience highly preferred.
• One year or more of experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Professional, courteous demeanor with strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Loves animals and can warmly welcome and compassionately care for a wide variety of pets.
• Flexible availability, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
