This is a contract‑to‑perm on‑site position for a Commercial Journeyman Electrician based in Hoffman Estates, IL. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in commercial facilities. Key responsibilities include interpreting and implementing electrical blueprints, ensuring compliance with safety codes, troubleshooting electrical issues, and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential in this role.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems (conduit, lighting, panels, transformers, motors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Ensure compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
