Overview
Position: Special Education Teacher - Low Incidence
Responsibilities include meeting and instructing assigned classes, planning a program of study that meets the needs and interests of the students, and creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate.

- Valid Alabama Department of Education Teacher's Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Endorsed in Special Education
- Multiple certifications preferred
- Must meet the ESSA (NCLB) Highly Qualified Criteria if applicable
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Duty Days: 187
