This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the individuals you support while using your nursing skills in a collaborative, community-based setting. Unlike many traditional nursing environments, this role allows you to become familiar with each person’s needs, routines, and goals and play an important part in helping them remain active, engaged, and as independent as possible.
We are looking for an LPN who is attentive, organized, and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The right candidate will value person-centered care, communicate clearly, and bring a calm and supportive approach to both routine care and unexpected medical concerns.
What You’ll DoProvide nursing care and support based on each individual’s needs
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor individuals for changes in health or behavior
Respond to medical concerns and emergencies
Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, and other required documentation
Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and members of the interdisciplinary team Support staff with health-related questions and provide training when needed
Help ensure that individuals can safely participate in community activities and day program services
Follow all Amego policies and applicable state and regulatory requirements

Pay Range: $31.00-$33.00/hr#eg1
Current Massachusetts LPN license in good standing
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamA patient, respectful, and person-centered approach
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
