Technical Support, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Title
Minebea Intec is a leading manufacturer of industrial weighing and inspection technologies.
General Purpose of JobTo provide a top level customer experience by continually improving technical knowledge and applying it to phone and email support. To work as part of a team to ensure a positive work environment and continually improve customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):Phone & Email Support Troubleshooting product issues for end users, OEM customers and resellers. Supporting distribution partner technicians in the field. Assisting Minebea Intec sales staff with technical questions and product specifications. Providing documentation such as manuals, datasheets, drawings, etc. In House Repairs and testing of equipment Assisting with service center repairs. Cross-Functional Support Assisting technical support team, sales, customer service, quality management, finance and product management with support and projects as needed.
Participating in warehousing duties such as shipping and receiving. Duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:
International Travel, Trade show setup, customer site visits, inventory support.
Required
Skills and experience:
High School Graduate. Logical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Basic electronic skills. Proficient with Windows operating systems and connectivity to peripheral devices. Customer focused approach. Self-motivated but able to collaborate within a team.
Preferred Skill andExperience:
Associates degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Computers (programming or networking) or related technical field. Experience in the weighing industry, electronics or similar products. 6-12 months client facing experience. Experience with PLC's and industrial communication. Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Desired Skill andExperience:
Familiarity with industrial software programming.
