This role involves performing long-term commercial electrical work in a 70,000 square foot warehouse located in Holbrook. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, focusing on conduit work, wiring, and fixture installation in a large commercial environment.
Responsibilities- Install, route, and secure electrical conduit, including EMT conduit, throughout a 70,000 square foot warehouse.
- Pull, terminate, and organize electrical wiring for commercial systems in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
- Bend pipe accurately to specification and layout, ensuring clean, professional conduit runs.
- Install and wire light fixtures, ensuring proper mounting, alignment, and safe operation.
- Set up and wire 3-way switches and other commercial switching configurations as required.
- Install, wire, and test commercial outlets and related devices to meet project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and prints to plan and execute installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, devices, and systems to diagnose issues and implement effective repairs.
- Follow OSHA 30 safety standards and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other electricians and trades on-site to complete projects on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
- 4–5 years of experience performing commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in installing, bending, and routing conduit, including EMT conduit.
- Strong skills in pulling, terminating, and organizing electrical wire for commercial applications.
- Ability to install and wire 3-way switches and other common commercial switching configurations.
- Experience installing and wiring light fixtures in a commercial setting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical prints.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for commercial electrical systems, circuits, and devices.
- Experience wiring commercial outlets and related electrical components.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and applicable codes for commercial environments.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed installation plans.

JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holbrook, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
