Verdantas is seeking an Environmental Engineer Intern to join our collaborative team and gain hands-on experience in solving real-world environmental challenges. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside engineers, geologists, and scientists on impactful projects, contributing to fieldwork, data analysis, and technical design. If you’re passionate about sustainability and eager to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting, we’d love to have you on board.###

### What You'll Do:
* Assisting with fieldwork (e.g., sampling of various media, site inspections, and in a support role for field engineers/geologists/scientists)
* Researching, collecting, and entering data, and applying technical principles to assist in interpreting and analyzing data
* Assisting in preparing engineering-related calculations, designs, plans, and conceptual models
* Performing preliminary human health and ecological risk calculations and modeling
* Assisting with environmental assessments
* Preparing technical reports
* The position may include travel

What You'll Bring
* Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences
* Relevant courses related to principles of environmental engineering, geology, or similar
* Proficient in MS Office products
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Able to conduct some fieldwork with occasional heavy lifting
* Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training
* Internship or coop experience
* Experience in ArcGIS and AutoCAD
* Affiliation and/or certifications with professional associations and networking capabilities
** Salary Range:**$65,000.00-$72,000.00
