Key Responsibilities Front Desk Operations & Patient Care- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated patient inquiries, ensuring an exceptional service experience.
- Manage complex procedure scheduling to optimize daily provider utilization and workflow.
- Track missed appointments and perform proactive patient follow-ups.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, patient billing, and collections.
- Manage the end-to-end insurance process: verification, accurate claim submission with required attachments, and active follow-up to ensure timely payment.
- Read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), accurately input financial data, and clearly explain treatment plans and costs to patients.
- Monitor front desk productivity, provide constructive feedback, and hold staff accountable to practice standards and culture.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings, communicate performance expectations, and assist in onboarding and training team members.
- Ensure daily office coverage, punctual attendance, and smooth morning setup.
- Oversee administrative supply inventory, equipment maintenance agreements, and vendor/lab negotiations.
- Lead the adoption and updating of office technologies.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations, maintaining high standards for patient privacy and workplace safety.
Preferred Experience
- Dental Office
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a dental practice required. - Clinical Knowledge: Prior experience as a Dental Assistant (2+ years preferred) or a strong background working in clinical operations to understand chairside workflows and terminology.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven understanding of dental software, insurance claim filing, and EOB processing.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday – Sunday: Closed (All shifts include a 1-hour lunch break)
