We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Highland Care Center in Holladay, Utah, USA. As a COTA at Highland Care Center, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom, to promote independence and functional ability
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
• Conducting occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions designed to improve patients' occupational performance
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and therapy sessions
• Participating in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training activities

• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

• Current state licensure/certification to practice as an OT assistant in Utah

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred
