Starting Wage: $10-$12/hour + tips + event commission

The Banquet Server/Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, professional, and efficient service to members and their guests during private events and club functions. This position assists with event setup, food and beverage service, bartending, event breakdown, and resetting of event spaces. Employees in this position may work in multiple Food & Beverage departments throughout the club, including Banquets, Clubhouse Bar, Dining Rooms, and other areas as needed.

This is a flexible, service-focused position that requires the ability to transition between serving and bartending responsibilities based on the needs of the club and event.

• Assist with setup and preparation of private events and club functions.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, screens, projectors, podiums, easels, and other event resources.
• Set tables with linens, flatware, glassware, centerpieces, and other required items.
• Serve food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up and maintain food and beverage stations.
• Monitor food and beverage stations and replenish items as needed.
• Buss tables and clear items from guest areas throughout the event.
• Maintain a clean and organized event space throughout service.
• Assist with event breakdown, including removal of linens, glassware, trash, food and beverage stations, and event equipment.
• Reset event spaces for the next event or club use.
• Assist other banquet staff and management as needed to ensure successful event execution.

• Set up and prepare bar areas prior to service.
• Ensure adequate supplies of beer, wine, liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards and approved recipes.
• Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to members and guests.
• Monitor beverage consumption and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Handle cash and other payment transactions for cash bars when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout service.
• Clean and properly close the bar at the end of service.
• Report guest concerns, complaints, or service issues to a manager promptly.
• Follow all club policies and Utah alcohol service requirements.

• Bartend and provide beverage service in multiple departments of the club as scheduled and as business needs require.
• Assist with regular dining, clubhouse bar, banquet, tournament, and other Food & Beverage operations.
• Be prepared to work in different service environments and adjust to the specific needs of each department.
• Support fellow Food & Beverage team members during busy periods.
• Maintain the same level of professionalism, service, and attention to detail regardless of department or event.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage management.

• Previous banquet, restaurant, hotel, country club, or bartending experience preferred.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Must be at least 21 years old to perform bartending duties.
• Tips and Sips Certification required for bartending.
• Food Handler's Permit required.

The nature of this position is physical and requires extended periods of standing and walking, as well as frequent stooping, kneeling, bending, turning, reaching, and balancing.

The position requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, and push tables, chairs, equipment, supplies, and other materials associated with events and Food & Beverage operations.

Employees must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of banquet setup, service, bartending, and event breakdown.

$10-$12 per hour + tips + commission from events

Event commission is earned in accordance with the club's banquet commission structure and is in addition to the employee's hourly wage and applicable tips.
