Job Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Conveyance Project Manager to support delivering world‑class water and wastewater conveyance projects for our municipal clients. As a Senior Conveyance Project Manager, you’ll lead a team of highly qualified engineers through the design process, interact directly with clients to develop and deliver technical conveyance solutions, and mentor mid‑level engineers. The role involves business development, project management, and client relationship building.
Responsibilities• Lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality deliverables meet contract requirements.
• Act as a technical liaison between the project owner and the design team, overseeing conveyance pipeline design, pumping plant, and related infrastructure.
• Pursue new work through strategy development, positioning, proposal, and negotiation of contracts with key municipal clients.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support business development activities, including client engagement and market share expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 20+ years of experience delivering water or wastewater conveyance projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Licensed Utah Professional Engineer (or commitment to obtain UT P.E. within one year).
- Strong leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Business development experience with local municipalities is a plus.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience leading large, complex conveyance projects.
- Track record of mentoring and building future leaders.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Experience with business development for municipal clients.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills.
