Sunbelt Rentals
, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking all levels of full-time Diesel or HVAC Equipment Mechanics in the Salt Lake City, UT Metro Area. This role performs preventive maintenance, performs advanced diagnostics, and makes complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment.

Our specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.
Roles available in Heber City, Orem, Farr West, and South Salt Lake City.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
• Provide own mechanic’s tools of trade
• Can work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship
• Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school diploma a plus
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
