We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity. The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close activities, reconcile accounts, and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who can quickly adapt to new environments and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
+ Prepare and post journal entries.
+ Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts.
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
+ Review and analyze general ledger activity.
+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
+ Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
+ Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
+ Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
+ Complete special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
