Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

This is a hands‑on accounting leadership role within the Finance team, accountable for accounting integrity, fiscal period close, accounting systems, internal controls, financial statement preparation, and development of the accounting team. By ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and trustworthy, the Controller helps create the financial clarity, discipline, and accountability needed to grow a thriving business in support of our mission to enrich customers’ lives through exceptional beverages, food, and service.

The Controller partners closely with the CFO and business leaders by providing a strong accounting foundation for business decisions, with responsibility for accounting operations, controls, systems, compliance, financial reporting, and people leadership. This player‑coach combines strong accounting discipline with an entrepreneurial mindset, bringing structure where it adds value while remaining resourceful, pragmatic, creative, and open to new tools, including automation and AI, that improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight.

The role leads and develops the accounting team, strengthens cross‑functional processes and controls, owns Net Suite/Crafted functionality for Finance, and coordinates external financial review, tax support, and accounting‑related compliance.

• Lead, manage, and develop accounting team members through hiring, coaching, performance management, succession planning, cross‑training, and professional development
• Own fiscal period and year‑end close, financial statements, accounting policies, general ledger management, and balance sheet integrity
• Lead cross‑functional accounting processes and establish clear ownership, controls, and accountability from source transaction through financial reporting
• Strengthen accounting systems, workflows, internal controls, automation, and continuous improvement efforts
• Serve as Finance functional owner for Net Suite/Crafted, ensuring system effectiveness, reporting accuracy, data integrity, and user adoption
• Coordinate external financial review, tax support, and accounting‑related compliance requirements
• Provide financial discipline, accounting expertise, and operational leadership that support informed business decisions and organizational success
