** Lead Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
** in JR Automation's Service and Support division located
** Holland, MI
** as we work together to bring innovative automation solutions to life.  This is a Full Time and on-site position located in Holland, Michigan.
** How you'll make an impact:
*** Actively oversee and participate in the movement of materials into, within, and out of the facility to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
* Coordinate truckload freight arrangements by developing freight requirements, requesting quotes from approved carriers, analyzing carrier proposals, and scheduling loads.
* Partner with Purchasing to create and manage freight-related purchase orders.
* Support and assist Shipping and Receiving and other JR team members in resolving logistics-related issues.
* Provide hands-on training and guidance to S/R Specialists and other Leads on job responsibilities, procedures, and best practices.
* Mentor logistics team members while modeling positive behavior, professionalism, and a strong team-focused attitude.
* Participate in and promote Lean and Six Sigma initiatives related to Shipping and Receiving.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, accuracy, and throughput.
* Safely operate overhead cranes, hi-lo (forklift) equipment, and other material handling equipment as required.
* Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.

Serve as the team's SME in the following areas:
* Truckload freight arrangements
* International shipping
* Material handling equipment usage and safety
* Logistics process knowledge and troubleshooting

** What you'll bring:
*** 3+ years in a business environment; 2 or more years of logistics, materials management, or supply chain experience preferred.
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo (Forklift) and Overhead Crane license while employed at JR
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
* Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis as part of daily job duties.
