Overview:

Tommy's Express is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Revit Drafter to join our growing Design & Construction team. In this role, you will support the design and development of our car wash buildings nationwide using advanced BIM tools. You'll contribute to architectural modeling, prototype maintenance, and design updates, playing a key role in bringing each site to life from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality construction models, shop drawings, and detailing packages using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
• Coordinate with internal and external engineers to integrate process equipment into architectural plans
• Contribute to the management of building prototypes and implement design changes across projects
• Present design concepts and updates to stakeholders for review and feedback
• Conduct site visits as needed to enhance technical understanding of our car wash construction process
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Architecture, Building Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction or architectural drafting
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM expertise strongly preferred
• Understanding of construction documentation and detailing, including LOD 400 standards
• Familiarity with MEP coordination and metal building systems is a plus
• Experience with exterior envelope systems such as ACM and IMP panels preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical design solutions
• Organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Standard office hours:
  Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Office-based with occasional field visits as needed
• Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to move around the office and construction site environments
