Assistant Curriculum & Learning Manager
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and continuously improve curricula, learning resources, and training programmes for neurodiverse young adults.
- Plan and conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and vocational programmes for learners, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and practical learning activities that are evidence informed and learner centred.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to translate ideas into meaningful learning experiences and programmes.
- Monitor programme quality, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance learner outcomes.
- Mentor and support trainers and facilitators to ensure consistent, high quality programme delivery.
- Research emerging practices, technologies, and educational approaches to keep programmes innovative and relevant.
- Maintain accurate curriculum documentation, training records, and programme resources.
- Contribute to new initiatives, projects, and strategic developments that further Connexions' mission.
- Diploma or Degree in Education, Psychology, Training & Adult Education, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development, programme design, training, facilitation, or learning development is preferred.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and passionate about designing meaningful learning experiences.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in special education is not a prerequisite.
