Minimum starting salary of $55,000 a year

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan teaching certificate required. Elementary (ZG) endorsements or similar endorsement required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead outdoor learning experiences that align with curriculum standards and foster student engagement with the natural environment
• Responsible for lesson planning and instruction of the kindergarten curriculum
• Demonstrates ability to differentiate instruction by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instructional methods to fit student needs
• Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learning of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops, or professional development meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Hearing:
  Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound
• Repetitive motions:
  Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• The worker is subject to environmental conditions. The worker should provide consistent and reliable attendance.
