Summary:
As a utility engineer, you will provide mechanical or electrical expertise and cost effective solutions for multiple utility facility operating and construction projects that meet budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage engineering activities concerned with design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning
- Mechanical:
Boiler, Compressed Dry Air System, Chiller, HVAC, Piping etc. - Preventive maintenance execution in order to complete all PM tasks
- Troubleshoot the abrupt breakdown of utility facilities
- Make and review technical document
- Monitoring utility operation
- Demonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost
- Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing settingas a mechanical or electrical utility system engineerpreferred
Skills:
- Exposure in mechanical or electrical facilities setting, preferably in production facility
- Experienced with the handling of Utility Facilities
- Certifications with certificates on the mechanical or electrical engineering and certification of boiler operation & maintenance
- Comfortable working independently and with others
- Results-oriented and perseverant
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Project and process management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve
